Branch Class

The Branch Class is truly a branch. Years ago, when the need was felt to divide the ever growing adult class, the youngest members agreed to 'branch' off and form a new class. Even though we meet separately and have our class identities, we still feel very connected to the vine of the JOY class as we learn and grow from observing their leadership, faithfulness, and willingness to serve. While the branch and vine relationship with the JOY class is very important to all of us, our relationship with Jesus Christ, the true vine, is where our real joy resides. Our class desires to stay connected to the vine of Jesus through study, prayer, and service.

Most Branch Class members are empty nesters and we love to share grandchildren pictures and stories. We look forward to many social activities throughout the year, often combining them with a service project. Most of our Sunday School lessons come from Standard Publishing. However, we are always open to branching out for other studies as opportunities and needs arise, bringing current events and developing spiritual needs to the forefront and allowing for vigorous discussion. The Branch Class would love to have you visit or join with us. Our service and social activities are as varied as the personalities of class members. However, the one common denominator for everything we do is our love for Jesus, our true vine, and what He means to each of us.

Loyalty Class

The Loyalty Class Sunday School class studies from the David E. Cook series of Sunday school material. Most everyone reads the lesson before class, therefore, there is a good round table discussion.

The class is made up of a group of the neatest elderly ladies. We have three younger ladies who help the older ladies and a very nice young man in our class who teaches the first Sunday each month.

Please come and visit our class some time.

Journey Class

The Journey Class welcomes anyone in their 20's and 30's to join our class. We have studied books of the Bible, watched video series on relationships, followed topical biblical series and learned about finances. In an effort to be social outside of Sunday morning class, we plan an activity once a month. These activities have included going bowling, throwing a holiday party, having a pitch-in, visiting the pumpkin patch, and just meeting at the park for lunch. Our goal is that through our friendships we will become a support system for each other that will help us all develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. Hope to see you soon!

JOY Class

JOY class takes their name from Jesus, Others, and You. We are senior adults meeting together on Sunday morning to discuss the Bible and learn more about Christ. We have five teachers that alternate Sundays to teach. We meet once a month for breakfast or dinner, take short trips and have an auction at our Christmas Party. The money raised from the auction is used to help those in need. We also sponsor a child in Haiti. Our ages range from 65 to 80+. We welcome anyone to visit our class. We know you will want to become a part of our family in Christ.

Cornerstone Class

The Cornerstone class has both married and single adults attending. Some of the married persons attend singaly. Anyone is welcome to attend our class. We begin our class by sharing prayer concerns and praises. The class enjoys topical studies where the truths of the Bible are always our main focus. We've done studies such as The Resurrection Appearances, The Fruits of the Spirit, Prayer, etc. as well as studies of several different books of the Bible. We often study subjects suggested by class members. You are never required to participate audibly, although discussion is a big part of the class session. We occasionally get together outside of the classroom just for fun. The ladies try to have a 'Ladies Night Out' once a month doing any activity, such as simply eating out together. Our class supports a little girl in Chile through World Vision. We also contribute to other missions as the need arises.
